Drafting table chair glass floor mat

I have worn through multiple vinyl floor mats over the years. I am extremely impressed and excited that this glass floor mat may finally be able to withstand the rigors of my rolling drafting table chair. I am in constant motion as I am drawing at the board. So far, I appreciate the sturdy feeling below my feet and the ease of rolling my chair. Time will tell. Check back with me in January 2027 to find out if I was able to break this mat! Chances are it will outlive me !!! LOL Koz

Perfect size for my dual-desk arrangement

My 52x48 matt with the tab is the perfect size for my dual-desk arrangement. I did not need to use the Velcro pieces beneath the glass - the matt stays in place on my carpet without moving.
The product arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Highly recommended.

Beautiful! But...

I must say that I love the tabbed chair mat. It arrived quite promptly and without issue. It is quite lovely and is a nice addition to my home office. which is important to me as I work remotely from my home.

I ordered the version with the tab. My only complaints relate to the small disks that are used when using the mat on a hardwood floor. The instruction should have included a diagram on where to put the disks. It states roughly every two feet, but when one has the tab version, I would have expected to put one at each corner of the mat, of which there are 8, along with one disk in the middle of each longer side, which there are 3. As an engineer, this makes sense from a structural and esthetics point of view. This was not possible given the number of disks provided was only 10. As I was one disk short, I balanced the mat by putting one in the center of the tab, well away from the perimeter. I would have given a 5 star rating if I had received 11 disks...

As a side note, I have noticed that after using the chair mat for several days, at least one of the floor anti-slip disks has in fact slipped from its original position. It is still 90% under the glass edge, but it has moved from its initial starting point. I will see what happens over time. Perhaps it moved as I adjusted the mat on the floor. It could have been "operator error".
