Beautiful! But...

I must say that I love the tabbed chair mat. It arrived quite promptly and without issue. It is quite lovely and is a nice addition to my home office. which is important to me as I work remotely from my home.

I ordered the version with the tab. My only complaints relate to the small disks that are used when using the mat on a hardwood floor. The instruction should have included a diagram on where to put the disks. It states roughly every two feet, but when one has the tab version, I would have expected to put one at each corner of the mat, of which there are 8, along with one disk in the middle of each longer side, which there are 3. As an engineer, this makes sense from a structural and esthetics point of view. This was not possible given the number of disks provided was only 10. As I was one disk short, I balanced the mat by putting one in the center of the tab, well away from the perimeter. I would have given a 5 star rating if I had received 11 disks...

As a side note, I have noticed that after using the chair mat for several days, at least one of the floor anti-slip disks has in fact slipped from its original position. It is still 90% under the glass edge, but it has moved from its initial starting point. I will see what happens over time. Perhaps it moved as I adjusted the mat on the floor. It could have been "operator error".

Great Chair Mat

I just began using my new tabbed chair mat by Clearly Innovative. The mat seems strong and durable, and my chair glides across it with ease. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase. I have every expectation that this will be the last chair mat I ever need.

Worth the extra $$

The glass mat came a few days early, ordered it on Sunday and it arrived Friday... which is nice because it allowed me to set this up on the weekend. I had to thoroughly clean and wet vac the carpet, and this dried overnight. installed it the next morning and it was exactly as I expected. Sturdy. pretty. compared to nothing (bare carpet) it is now much better. I recommend you get a large piece because to me it doesn't make sense to have a small piece of floor cover that you’re going to roll the chair off of. If you’re like me and spend all day every day in front of the computer... then it's worth it to spend $$$ on the floor mat.

THE VERY BEST Chair Mat in Existence! Five Stars is not enough!

This is the VERY BEST chair mat you will ever purchase. Certainly, five stars is not enough. I like it so much that I bought a second one for another office area in my home. Your search is over! Purchase one or more of these, and I guarantee you will love it.
